What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Scorch is designed for maximum glide with reliable fade no matter what level you are at. Beginners will notice that the disc is very easy to throw straight forward, but will also come back at the end, even in the wind. Experienced can expect a lot of turns with a late finish.

The Scorch is a great flippy control driver. It's good for intermediate player and might be good for beginners with a faster arm speed. It has a lot of glide with a good amount of turn and fade. It's great for hyzer-flip shots. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)

I'm going to rate 5 stars on this disc, based purely on that I have thrown it noticeably further than my other go-to 11+ speed drivers(A Crank SS and Nuke SS). It does take a wider anhyzer S-shape shot to get it going, kinda like a Nuke, but I would agree, it's got a 6 glide rating for a reason!  At first, I was not a fan of how the disc slowed(hence the 2 fade number), but I can see it in the flight and it is apparent that it is there to get the disc out of its high-speed turn and I think will come in handy-offering a nice forward skipping finish. The Scorch is an enigmatic driver that can be maddening to throw at times. It's one of those discs that wants to either turn all the way over or not at all, and finding the perfect release on it can be difficult. One thing the Scorch has going for it is glide. The 6 is legit here. The Scorch floats beautifully and bombs when you hit it just right. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I really like the Scorch, it's a good easy to throw distance driver. I have two in ESP and two in ESP FLX. Both plastics are very comfortable in the hand, but they behave very differently for this mold. The normal ESP can give a nice S shaped flight, but can also be easily manipulated to turn and finish right. Although I love the feel of the ESP FLX plastic, it behaves much more overstable for me and doesn't give much turn. This can be good in headwinds, but it's worth considering that there's much more variation in the flight patterns for ESP FLX Scorch discs. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
