What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Z plastic: 

Z is Discraft's most hard-wearing and durable plastic, which means that the disc retains its flying properties for a very long time. It is harder and slightly more overstable than ESP.

I get my midranges out to 300 feet with my forehand, and i have finally settled for the Comet as my pick for a straight shot. My release is mostly a hyzer flip so this is great disc for that. The understability will make it flip up every time and the bead makes it pretty torque resistant. The understabily and the bead in one disc makes this disc at least a bit unique. Even though its the best understable midrange I have thrown I wont give it five stars as I havent got the consistent right to left movement out of the disc yet. I know that this disc is loved for the backhand, but I think its underappreciated for the forehand. The discraft numbers for the disc is spot on as well, everything is great about this disc. The disc was more stable than I was expecting, but performed pretty well for me. Ultimately stopped bagging the comet because it wasn't a comfortable fit for my hand. I did manage a few birdies though before putting it on the shelf! In general it seems like a solid, usable mid. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I tried this disc out on a recommendation from some more experienced players, but just couldn't get it to work for me.  Not sure why, but it is not comfortable in my hand, it does not fly well when released, and doesn't have the turn that I expected.  It is probably me (I am a beginner) but I got more use out of the Buzzz and the Sol and this one just sits on the shelf now. Tried using this disc but found the feel to be terrible and was far too flippy for me. Would burn into the ground almost immediately. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

It is alright. It's understability makes it great for beginners. I had fun throwing it, however this purchase was also disappointing as my mid slot is already taken by my Mako and the Comet didn't do enough to justify the switch. Additionally, understable mids are simply not a good fit for me specifically as a result of this elaboration. However, do not let this take away from the Comet's viability and potential fill for someone else's bag. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
