What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Shryke is a high-speed driver with extra glide. Perfect for long downwind throws and for players who don't have much power in their throws.

Shryke is a length driver suitable for all skill levels. A weak turn at high speed gives you an incredibly good length. At low speed it has a slight fade, making it easy to control.

The Star is my all time favorite disc. I've spent a lot of time and money trying to replace it but it is the straightest longest most reliable disc I've had. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

The star Shryke is probably where you should start if you just trying your hand at distance drivers or if your an advanced player looking for a long turnover shot the still has a dependable fade on the end. This disc really shines in star plastic, i throw mine on forehand shots where distance is needed over all else, thrown with a touch of hyzer it will flip up and even turn a good bit but will go a mile. Somewhat touchy and susceptible to anhyzer disaster rollers, if you're able to get it going it GOES. First disc I've thrown over 400ft after being stuck at 350-375 with my Star Destroyer. Great for hyzer flips too. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

Somewhat of a beginner here; been playing for 9 months and throwing 300' max. I started turning some of my 11 speeds and thought I might be ready for a 13 speed. I rushed to my nearest shop and grabbed the lightest star shryke they had, 160g. I am immediately in love with this disc. It is so unlike anything in my bag. The best way I can explain it is: this disc is effortless. In my mind, I should not be able to turn a 13 speed disc and have it stay in the air like this disc does. It confuses me. It's as if every disc I own has a parachute on it while this one grows legs and runs out of my hand. It's by far my furthest flying disc as it stays in the air forever. Easy hyzer flips right off the shelf. Definitely recommend! (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)

Not all Shrykes are created equal! My halo star shryke is a great disc for where I'm currently at. If I catch it perfectly I can get a small turn out of it while still providing a reliable fade. Realistically on most of my BH throws the shryke flips to flat for just a second, and fades out at a steady pace. My ideal driver would have slightly more turn and slightly more fade but I love the feel and durability of the halo star plastic. Looking forward to seeing how this one breaks in, and hopefully getting a touch more flip from where it started at. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)
