What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Overstable driver that works very well in headwinds.
Invictus "Undefeated in Latin and for longer throws against the wind you won't find better". Some pros refer to the Star Invictus as "a faster firebird". Garrett Gurthie says, "if you think you have the power, you must have this disc".

Star plastic:
Star the plastic wears in slowly and predictably and provides long-lasting durability. It gives you a good grip in all kinds of weather and is a good choice for those who like the durability of the Champion plastic and the grip-friendly Pro plastic. Star the plastic retains its properties longer than DX and Pro plastic.

The G-Star Invictus is a very good option for that overstable control/distance driver slot in your bag.  For an overstable disc, it has decent glide which will help get down the fairway quickly before the fade kicks in.  It is very comfortable with both backhand and forehand grips.  I was pleasantly suprised with the workability of the Invictus and think it can be more than just an overstable meathook. This disc is great for hyzer shots, flies like a beefy PD. I relied on this disc for 200-300ft with a fade at the end. Once you learn this disc it can be your most accurate shot. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I always like the Star plastic discs for their feel and smooth release. I found my Invictus (no name/number) so I don't know how much it had been used previously, though it appeared to be in very good shape still (Star plastic does have good durability). Even as a used disc, this seemed to be much more overstable than the numbers would suggest: it seemed to be every bit as overstable for me as the Felon. I typically use other discs more often for drives and other shots, but this became a very useful disc when throwing into the wind (giving me just a longer version of the same consistent flight path), or needing reliable hard turns/skips. Never a question about how it was going to travel, which is a nice option to have available in the bag. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I have a champion invictus that is super overstable. Definitely more overstable than any firebird I own - it's on the level with FAF firebirds. What makes this disc interesting is that it's still kind of glidey because it has some dome. It basically dives left out of the hand and then gives a big ole skip. I like that it feels similar in the hand to an Orc or a PD but is beefy like a firebird. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

Before trying this disc I had read other reviews calling this a longer, faster firebird. While this disc is overstable, I would not use it as a faster firebird. In my experience this disc flies straighter longer than a firebird before having a strong overstable finish. The invictus makes a great windy day control driver, but does not fill the same utility disc role that firebirds or scepters fill.
