What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

The Prodigy FX-2 is an overstable fairway driver that provides a fast and straight flight with a hard fade at the end. The disc is made in collaboration with 2x DGPT winner Chris Dickerson. It has a comfortable profile for both forehand and backhand, and you'll be surprised how far it flies.

The FX series fills the gap between the F-series and H-series of Prodigy.

Recommended uses:
Forehand
Spike hyzer
Upwind throw

750 plastic:
750 is the Rolls Royce of Prodigy with extremely good durability. You can count on the disc to retain its flight characteristics even after many rounds of pounding. It is very similar to the 400 plastic in terms of grip and texture, but is slightly harder.

Disappointed in every sense. I had bought this disc out of necessity (lost a Getaway during a tournament and needed a replacement at the lunch break), and the afternoon round of my tournament was the only round I ever used this disc in. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I've tried Raptors, Firebirds, Felons, and FD3's. Out of all of those, this is the one that has fit my game the best. It's pretty overstable, especially in 500 or 750 plastic. With the other discs above, they tended to be too overstable on forehand for me. I like to be able to give forehand shots a some hyzer, I'm not a huge fan of flat to anhyzer release on forehand. Those discs are too overstable and will just dump out and go nowhere. The FX-2 has a bit more glide than your typical overstable fairway, which I enjoy. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

I bought this disc out of a used bin because I was shopping for discs in the upper fairway driver range and I LOVED the swirly seafoam colors in the plastic. It only took one throw for me to discover why a brand new disc (9/10) was in the used bin - the inner rim is like a knife that slices across your hand on release, whether thrown backhand or forehand. The outer rim is also painfully sharp, so there's no safe way to contact the disc when throwing. I was only able to throw it about 10 times before I gave up and hung it on the wall instead. I've thrown other discs with a sharp line on the rim before, due to shape, molding, or both, but nothing comes close to how painful this disc is. If I cared enough I could spend a lot of time trying to sand down the rim, but A) that changes the flight, B) ruins any resale value left, and C) I shouldn't have to! (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)

Found this bad boy in 500 plastic in the Play it Again used rack, and it immediately make me forget about needing a Thunderbird.  It's extremely trustworthy for those oft-needed hyzer lines, and while the grip was initially different from what I was used to, it only took a few throws to realize that not only was it to be trusted when trust was most needed, but the feel soon became as natural as any other disc (most Innova) that I carry.  Probably not ideal for beginners (unless they are simply looking for a disc that looks remarkable), but as time goes by this type of disc becomes more and more useful. I gave the FX-2 a shot earlier this year to try out some prodigy plastic. This disc kind of fits into the same stability as maybe slightly seasoned Discmania CG FD3. The good thing is that it's a little more user friendly in terms of stability for some smaller arms. The biggest knock I have is the sharp rim. It can be uncomfortable to use especially for bigger forehand shots, it could feel like it's actually ripping skin when leaving the hand. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
