What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Vulture is described as a recorded Predator, meaning it is less overstable and has more glide. It is reliable in wind and is a great disc for throwing long, controlled casts.

The Vulture seems to be an underrated disc in Discraft's fairway/control driver lineup.  I throw this disc pretty often on holes in the 320-360ft range, it has a nice combination of speed, glide, and stability.  It's not a flashy disc and it won't blow you away with it's distance, but it's very versatile and predictable. The Vulture is one of those drivers you never hear much about, but it's quietly a very solid performer. IMO the Vulture performs like an Anax, but with a tick less speed, glide, and distance. Great driver for shots when accuracy is important. The Vulture won't turn on hard rips, and is a consistent flier. Faster than a fairway driver, but slower than a max distance driver. Also very comparable to a Thunderbird or Getaway. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

From what I can tell I think the vulture I got is pretty stable. When worked in I think it will throw closer to the true flight numbers, but I also play at altitude so that could affect it a bit. I can get it to stand up and ride, but can't get any turn out of it without forcing it over. I think this disc is great, but until I get it beat in a little more I likely will be switching it out. From what I have seen though, mine is the exception, especially to the other vultures I have thrown. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

I love this disc. I don't have much distance when I drive but this disc is straight with a dependable finish and the end. Great for beginners to intermediate. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
