What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Nuke is a max speed-distance driver that has become a very common disc to use due to its reliability and usability. It can be used by players of all levels, but is most useful for experienced players who want to go far down the fairway.

Stability: 1.6

Big Z Plastic:

Z is Discraft's most hard-wearing and durable plastic, which means that the disc retains its flying properties for a very long time. It is harder and slightly more overstable than ESP. Big Z is almost identical to Z, but is slightly softer and less transparent.

The Big Z Nuke is a great over stable distance driver. At first I thought mine was too over stable, but after beating it in it was a bomber! (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)

I picked up a Z-Line Nuke for a reliable, overstable distance driver. This disc rarely gives me any turn and flies very true in the wind. If I put it on anhyzer, this disc likes to fly for a while and always flexes out. My favorite way to throw the Nuke is on big hyzer lines. It slightly flips up, making it carry much farther, even on steep hyzer angles. I also like throwing this disc forehand because it has a very aggressive skip. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

Probably my favorite distance driver. Has a great handfeel and flies true to its flight numbers if you can get it up to speed otherwise it'll give you a great utility disk with super reliable fade. Unlocked another level of distance with this baby. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

Okay, so this may be rather insane considering I am very much a beginner, but I love this disc and it has been incredibly useful for me. As someone who is very forehand dominant and has been able to quickly pick up a lot of power with my forehand I find this disc to be superb. Now that I understand how it flips and how to use it I can shape my shots really well and consistently get them to land exactly where I want them to. With that said, there is no way in hell my backhand is going to be strong enough to do anything but flip this right over into the ground for a LONG time to come so if you are looking for a good backhand disc and you are anything less than advanced I would move right along. If you have at least a passably strong forehand (I've thrown this thing around 350-400 feet on an open field several times) and you have a decent understanding of how a disc is going to react when thrown, I would highly recommend picking one of these up. Z plastic is incredibly durable so it will last a very long time in your bag and be a really useful tool for you! (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
