What does it mean that the image is labeled "Actual Disc"?

The "Actual Disc" mark indicates that it is our own image of the exact disc you will receive. There will therefore be NO variation in color shades or stamp.

All discs marked "Actual Disc" are also weighed by us with precision scales. Since manufacturers often have a larger margin of error on the scale, you may experience receiving a product that is marked with a different weight.

We group discs that have identical colour, stamp and weight together, so you may find that there is more than 1 in stock of a disc marked "Actual Disc".

What weight should I choose?

Short answer: Is there a difference of a couple of grams between the different variants? Then it doesn't matter much.

Long answer: In general, a lighter disc is often easier to throw for beginners, but is more affected by wind and can be perceived as less reliable. Furthermore, a lighter disc will "skip" forward less when it hits the ground. Experiment with different weights to discover the differences.

If you buy a disc under 170g, it is considered a "lightweight disc". It can be beneficial to experiment with lighter weights, especially for beginners and players who struggle to get up to speed on the disc.

Malta is Paul McBeth's 4th disc in his Signature Series. This disc provides consistent stable flights and provides the same feel and flight as the Zone, but with the control and distance of a stronger Buzzz.

Recommended areas of use:
Straight throw with fade
Throw into headwind
Long approach

Flight rating:
Speed: 5
Glide: 4
Turn: 1
Fade: 3
Stability: 1.9

Big Z Plastic:

Z is Discraft's most hard-wearing and durable plastic, which means that the disc retains its flying properties for a very long time. It is harder and slightly more overstable than ESP. Big Z is almost identical to Z, but is slightly softer and less transparent.

Awesome disc! Good overstable mid with a comfortable rim. I've aced with one and hit the basket on several other ace runs. Love it! (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I honestly picked up a Malta because I thought it was a pretty disc. I was very new to disc golf then and had no clue how flight numbers worked. That was actually an advantage for me because I didn't buy this disc expecting it to conform to its flight numbers. This disc is certainly not nearly as overstable as advertised, but that doesn't mean it's bad by any means. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

A reliable overstable midrange, was not different enough from a zone in flight to find a spot in my bag. Tends to come in very swirly plastic which is nice. (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I really wanted to like this; I tried it out as a replacement for a Hornet during the colder months, hornet's are too hard to replace. It's not as overstable as advertised, even my somewhat beat in esp hornet is more overstable than this. And after reading some of the other comments, I don't think it's just me or the particular disc I have. I like the feel/shape of the disc and has good glide, but it just doesn't come back/hyzer out as much as I think a disc with these numbers should. I tried this out because I find the Streamline Runway a little too overstable, I just can't get it to flatten out, but I'm going to stick with it over the Malta, dependability over a little extra distance in this spot. The most inaccurate flight numbers i have seen on a disc. I exspected a very overstable midrange. Instead i got a disc with slight turn and less fade. Maybe it was unlucky. Not a bad disc, but its not as the flight numbers suggest. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)
