Mester Roc3

The OG overstable midrange, the Roc3 was a staple in my bag for a year or more before I moved away from it for other molds to fill that slot. It flies pretty true to the flight numbers and is great for getting around trees or corners, can be used for approaches or off the tee, and haivng used it in both Star and Champion plastic is great in both. I prefer throwing mids that are overstable like this for forehand shots and ultimately found the bead on the disc to be an irritant so went for a beadless alternative. Would highly recommend for backhand use and forehand as well if you don't mind a bead! (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)

I tried to like the Roc3 but it just wasn't for me. I do have smaller hands so that was my first hurdle. Between the depth and the bead it's just too deep for me. I cannot seem to get a consistant clean release on this one. My bigger gripe though is the flight of the disc. It's not at all like the numbers advertise. Could be the specific disc I have but it's really only straight to stable for me. Brand new, it already had a small amount of turn at early flight when released flat. I was really hoping for that 0 turn for making sure it never flipped up, went right, or making sure it held well in the wind but my Roc3 just doesn't have any of that. The fade is where I'm most disapointed. At best I get a gentle fade but most of the time it flies so darn straight all the time. It flys really similar to a Pathfinder for me but with less torque resistance. It's not a BAD disc but it's just not an overstable midrange for me. (Nivå på anmelder: Nybegynner)

A great midrange for all angles.  This was my old goto mid for the longest time before I finally gave in and switched to the Buzzz. (Nivå på anmelder: Viderekommen)

This is a good disc, but unfortunately doesn't fly at all how I was expecting. I wanted a reliably overstable mid that fades without dumping, and that I don't have to worry about turning over. Got mine in Halo Star to maintain the overstability, but it hasn't flied like that at all. It definitely has some fade, but a much softer fade than anticipated. It also doesn't handle torque as well as I was hoping, and definitely has some turn to it. Still a fine disc especially if you like beaded mids, but falls squarely in the oversaturated "straight to slightly overstable mid" category for me (Nivå på anmelder: Middels)
